Compensation
Compensation for Artists
The artist receives 40% of profits from the recordings. The Artist is recorded for free and promoted by Banana Stand Media. The Artist is encouraged to release "free" album tracks (described below) promotionally for download or streaming, but we ask that Banana Stand Media and mixer be credited, when possible. Artist is encouraged to offer any live album tracks as promotional streaming files online.
Compensation for Banana Stand Media
Banana Stand Media receives 40% of profits from the recordings. Banana Stand Media distributes up to 2 songs for free (as described in the Distribution section).
Banana Stand Media receives 100% of any donations from shows at The Banana Stand to defray recording, promotional and security expenses. It is at Banana Stand Media's discretion to share this income with Artists.
Compensation for Mixers
Mixers receive 20% of profits from the live album product (or any subset of it). If the Artist chooses to mix using their own equipment/software the Artist receives Mixer compensation. If the Artist mixes using Banana Stand Media's equipment/software Producer compensation is split 10% Artist and 10% 'Stand.
